A range of Switchmode power supplies available specifically designed for the Access Control & Security markets. These units have built in battery-backup facilities and space for housing your own Sealed Lead acid battery. This give the units UPS function/autonomy for when there is a main failure to continue to power your CCTV camera, automatic door control or any related product. You can also request that these units also come with a front tamper switch which can be remotely monitored to ensure that these units are not tampered with and remain securely closed when out in the field.

This high quality Power Supply Unit is made in the UK and comes with a 3 year warranty as standard. The range consists of 13.8Vdc and 27.6Vdc models from 20 watts up to 140 watts, see data sheet for more details.

This unit comes with a locking hinged lid for security and the metal case is designed to house a battery for connection up to the PSU unit using the included battery connection leads and clips. The smallest suitable battery is a Sealed Lead Acid 7Ah battery and the 140Watt unit is able to house a 42Ah battery. The 27.6Vdc units include room for house 2 batteries in series and an come with an extra battery connection lead (in white) to connect both together.

The battery backup feature of this range of power supplies makes it ideally suitable for applications where continuity of supply is vital. Camera systems, fire systems and any security related applications are just some of the wide range of industries where this unit is ideally suited.
